Fixcracked Touch Screen Replacement Parts Digitizer Glass Assembly for Ipad 4 + WiFi Antenna Cable and Professional Tool Kit (Black)

Had to clean glue off the screen before install.

The worst part is scraping the glass out and not breaking the wifi. Other than that, it seems to work ok touching the screen without any noticeable latency.

My 3 year old son gets to use my old iPad 4 from time to time. He dropped the iPad on concrete and destroy the screen. I didnt have a very good case on it. I thought it was garbage and was shopping around for a new iPad. I decided to see how much replacement was. I couldnt believe it was only $20 this item, or $100 for local repair. So I bought this product even though I was dubious that it would work, but really couldnt go wrong. Im pretty handy so wasnt intimidated at the thought of replacing the screen. It was harder, more detailed than expected, but after 2 hours it was repaired functioning. Was impressed and happy to not spend all the money for a new one. Also got a nice padded case, Hopefully will last a long time.

The screen was easy to install and the extra modem was necessary as the original modem will most likely get damaged when removing the cover. That said, I was very disappointed that during the manufacturing process glue dripped on the inside portion of the glass. Unfortunately there was no protective film on the inside of the glass. As a result there are smudges that can be seen. Other than that, the screen replacement went great!

Unit arrived in a nice box packed neatly. It doesnt seem as nice as the original. Screen installation went ok. however, the new home button did not work so had to dig my old one out the trash can, remove it from my broken screen, carefully pry the newly installed screen back off, take the new one back apart and install my old button on the new screen. Disappointing too because my button is about worn out. Id give it two stars. Look for another option.

After putting a TON of work peeling off the original screen, I was incredibly disappointed to find that the insert to the motherboard from the replacement screen DID NOT FIT. What a COLOSSAL WASTE OF TIME! Unfortunately, at the outset I could not find my iPad, so I missed the replacement/refund window. So, all I can advise is buyer beware of third party untested aftermarket parts, and test them as soon as you can, so you return/replace them if they dont work out.

Perfect!!! Fixed our iPad screen and now looks like it was never broken in the first place!

I received the wrong item, which is disappointing when Im trying to get this fixed for my parents in the few days Im home..

The first one i received had one dead spot. When the iPad was in the horizontal position the area around where the W would be on the keyboard was dead. Then I order a replacement and this time the home button would not work. Order new home button and now everything as it should be.
