I’ll admit I was very nervous thinking about doing it. However to have it done professionally was almost the same price I paid for the iPad. So after everyone else went to bed I started. I found a YouTube find that matched the device I have. Glass removal went easy, so do removing the led screen. Install was fairly easy as well. I did struggle a little getting the glass to lay flat. That was my own fault, I had missed a small piece of the old adhesive. I powered it back on and it seems to work just fine. Tomorrow we be the ultimate test, when we give it back to our 3yr old.

There were no instructions in the package I received and I had to go to YouTube to watch a video to see how to replace the digitizer screen. The replacement digitizer screen works great but it was difficult to remove the old digitizer screen and I accidentally cracked a corner of the LCD screen. Is there anyway to get a replacement LCD screen?

I dont know if this is because of a mistake I did or its the screen, a very thin 2mm along the bottom from the screen area like a strip near the edge isnt responding, however, other screen parts is more than excellent. still, i recommend to have it

The first screen I replaced had an issue with registering finger swipes. I contacted the company and they quickly sent me a new one. The second screen worked great and I’ve had no issues. The toolkit they include is most of what you’ll need, but I advise using a metal and plastic razor blades. It would help if they supplied a very basic instruction on how the cables should nest behind the lcd, but there are a lot of posts on this repair. Would just be nice if I didn’t have to seek them out separately. Overall a great kit and the customer service was very helpful.

This goes on very easy. My only complaint is the adhesive could be a little stickier but its holding in place.

Do not waste your money! The screen would not lay flat, causing it to pop up from the frame. The tape is an absolute JOKE!!!!

I can follow written instructions. I cannot understand why these pricks wouldnt add a sheet with instructions. Dont buy this unless you have experience doing this.

The screen didnt fit correctly. I verified I purchased the correct model, that the iPad body want warped and that there was no debris in the way got a new one from a different company and it fit perfectly.

Changed the screen and put this screen in , the sticky seals do not stick and the touch screen doesn’t work at all .
