This worked well and was as easy to install as any screen replacement. I did have problems with the adhesion which probably caused it to crack again. It could probably have been an installation error, rather than a defect - I had the same issue with another replacement. I should have learned or at least bought a case.

I would check out some YouTube videos on how to replace an iPad screen before you start. Its not difficult but its always a good idea to prepare well. The messy part is to get the original screen off. I used a heath gun to loosen the adhesive. Dont worry about getting the glass off in little pieces, youll replace it anyway. Clean off the old glue and remove all the bits off glass. From that point on its very easy to install the new glass. Just take your time, anyone can do it.

Received the item, opened and did not contain tools or the correct digitizer for an A1893 model Ipad.

Changed the screen and put this screen in , the sticky seals do not stick and the touch screen doesn’t work at all .

I broke the glass on my ipad. The glass that I ordered was a perfect fit, nicely packed and film on both sides of the glass for easy installment with no finger prints or smudges to clean. I believe this glass is better than what came with my ipad! Thanks, great product and nice to have the extra tools! cheryl

Touch ID does not work at all. This product has been disappointing.

I installed the screen with no challenges other than it is a complex process. I have used it for two weeks and it has stopped responding to touch through the center of the screen side to side. It makes the iPad virtually useless. I can’t type, I can’t play games, I can’t fill in forms. I’m very disappointed in this product.

Super easy to replace. Great quality

It was my first time attempting to replace an iPad screen. It was a little difficult for me with no instruction. But once installed it works absolutely perfect. But I was not able to use the old home button so it no longer has the fingerprint scanner but other than that great product and great price if you have the time in patience . Patience being the operative portion of it.

Worked for a few month and then touch screen started failing. Poor quality!
