Fjallraven Womens Kanken Totepack

Alright, so Im just going to say it... This bag isnt for those who prefer comfort over style. Now, if youre like me and love Kanken products - you might like this if you have a small frame or are used to carrying tote bags. Im a 5ft 3in, 145lb woman and this bag sits just above my butt when in backpack mode. However, it *feels* like its sitting higher. With my Classic Kanken backpack, its a little slouchier and doesnt press the bag against my back whereas the totepack does. I also have to shimmy around to make the straps lay comfortably, otherwise they tend to cut into my armpits a bit. Its not painful, but its slightly uncomfortable. Also, when in backpack mode, the front tote strap hangs out. I dont like how this looks, so I tuck it in the main compartment and leave the top zipper slightly open. As a tote, while I do like the versatility, the straps are not padded so if your bag is heavy, it would probably be painful to carry after 30 minutes or so. The straps have that Kanken thick webbing so it starts to cut into your shoulders, especially if youre wearing something sleeveless. Ive seen people say that you can use the Kanken shoulder pads with this but Im not sure how feasible that would be. The pads would work just with their two straps securing them to the backpack but the totepack doesnt have the little button part at the top that keeps the pads from sliding around. Also, youd have to remove and re-attach the pads every time you went from tote to backpack mode and vise versa. (If you think youd prefer it mostly in backpack mode, Id suggest buying the Classic or Laptop Kanken backpack instead. Both are way more comfortable when carrying heavy books, etc.) All of that being said, would I still recommend the Kanken Totepack? Yes, sort of. - If youre like me and are mostly going to the grocery store, Target, etc. and dont carry a lot with you - Or if youre a commuter not walking too far, and know youll be able to sit and take this off - Or if youre using it as a work bag where, besides walking to and from your office, this will mostly be sitting under your desk or in a locker... Yes, I think youll like it - if youre small enough to have it sit comfortably on your body as a backpack or if you plan to carry it as a tote. As with all other Kankens, the material itself is extremely durable and water resistant. Ive had my other Kankens for years and they look brand new even with everyday use. I wipe them off with warm soapy water every now and then because my bags are black and show dust after a while but besides that, I dont baby them at all. If you already have a Kanken backpack and want another Kanken product thats different enough to justify the purchase, this is it. If you DONT have a Kanken backpack because you were waiting for a Tote version to be released, go for it. If you want another Fjallraven product thats just as versatile but way more comfortable, Id recommend the High Coast Totepack. The backpack straps are adjustable, padded and the tote strap is removable. Its a better bag in every way, except it doesnt have the Kanken look to it. (Note: Thats my 12.9in iPad Pro in the laptop pocket. It fits fine but anything bigger wouldnt.)

Hatte mir die Tasche zum anschauen bestellt, Von der Qualität her sehr gutes Material es passte auch viel in die Tasche rein, aber ich war auf der Suche nach einer kleineren Tasche und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war mir zu teuer somit leider für mich ungeeignet.

This is my favourite bag, it is functional, waterproof and looks amazing. Love it!

In love with this 2 in 1 bag. So handy for people like me. Not too spacious if you want loads of stuff in it but absolutely study and easy to carry. The best part is its waterproof!!
