This is my second weight stabilizer. The last one was worse. Horrible lettering and the glue on the bottom for the felt was coming off. Now this one has “FLUANCE “ logo have missing again. VERY BAD CRAFTSMANSHIP!! for $50!! Not worth sending another one back. I don’t have time to go Back to UPS STORE for another drop off.

Im very happy with my purchase. This fits my RT85 and looks great. The rubber texture feels nice and the felt bottom wont scratch anything. For a hunk of metal it is pricey but compared to others I tried this is the best for the money. It does a great job at flattening warped records too.

Wow, this thing is heavy! I purchased this to go with my Fluance RT85 as I wanted to ensure my vinyl made solid contact with the acrylic platter. I was almost afraid to use it it was so heavy but it works like a charm. You can probably place a warped records and have it make contact. In any event, its a quality record weight.

I bought this for use on a Technics Grand Class SL-1210G. The dust cover has a low profile, so this stabilizer was perfect to fit beneath it, and had enough mass to make it work properly even on heavier weight records. Be careful when ordering this item, though--the first one I received was damaged in shipping, and the rubberized coating had nicks in it on the top. (For what these cost, I expect them to be perfect when they arrive.) But the Amazon return process was smooth and I received a new, undamaged stabilizer to replace it with.

I got this to use on my old dual turntable to reduce vibrations coming through my records into the stylus. It works excellently. It is very heavy and does its job perfectly.

This record weight is nice and a must have if you have an RT82-85 it really does flatten warp albums I had a slightly warped Phil Collins and it literally instead of repeating in the same spot on the record it literally didn’t repeat and played through also there was a slight improvement in sound I would highly recommend this to everyone if you own the RT82-RT85

Bought this since I have a Fluance record player. I did notice the difference with better sound. Also, I love the matted finish.
