> 3 dayThe purchasing process threw Amazon was excellent. My other purchases and this item came ahead of schedule, even at this time of year. The representative was cordial and patient, even though we had a hard time understanding each other.

Greater than one weekThe multimeter is very accurate. The display is clear. The only negative I have is that the leads it came with are made out of terrible stiff wire with average quality ends. I suggest replacing the leads with better ones, and YES, as youd expect from Fluke, the replacement leads are top quality, but ridiculously expensive!

03-06-2025I ended up sending this unit back without ever using it. I should have paid more attention and Ill take the blame for this one. I ended up returning and purchased a Fluke 87-V. It was a bit more expensive, but has a milliamp port for the hot lead.

Greater than one weekOkay, so I have had this for probably 8 or 9 years now. I use it daily as an alarm technician for Toyota, and I used it daily as a car audio installer, and also when I was an avionics technician. Overall it is an excellent multimeter. It feels good in the hand, has a nice backlight, is easy to use, accurate, the leads are nice and flexible and a good length, plus the dial has a really solid/smooth click and the audible continuity has a pleasant/smooth tone; overall it is a very good unit. It gets 4 stars for two reasons: 1) as nice as it is it is still overpriced. I dont think it is WAY overpriced, but I do think it should be around $120 at a retailer and $100 online because theres quite a bit it doesnt do (no millivolts, no temp, no voltage sense etc). 2) There is an issue with the screen. It is fairly dim when you look at it straight-on with the backlight on. If the backlight is off you can look at it straight-on and its fine, but if the backlight is on you have to tilt the unit to somewhat of an angle for it to look right. I dont think it was always like this, I believe it is an issue that has developed over time (Ive read others have had the same issue); overall its not a big deal BUT for how much the unit costs it really shouldnt have this problem. Overall it is a great, easy-to-use, high-quality, durable multimeter and one of my favorite tools that I own; you can definitely get a very good meter for less money but the Flukes do seem to be overall the best quality/easiest-to-use. Even though I think it is overpriced the truth is that if mine ever goes bad Ill probably get another Fluke...theyre really nice.
