Fluke 233 Remote Display Multimeter

This is an absolutely great tool. It has the quality that one would expect from Fluke. While working on automobiles, it is wonderful not to have to rely on other people any more than necessary. You can clip this multimeter to your desired circuit and then walk around the vehicle with the display in hand to do things such as wiggle tests or pull fuses to find parasitic drain. This thing is so useful that I cant believe it has taken this long to come out on the market.

Work at an independent euro automotive shop. Do tons of diagnostic and troubleshooting. This multimeter saves me lots of time. Would recommend to any technician. A must have compared to the new Snap-on meter that is almost three times the price.

Fantastic meter, thought I would ocationally use the detachable display but I use it all the time. This thing is the cats meow. The leads that came with it were kind of cheap though, recommend silicone leads.

Dont buy, like the reviews say. I got mine and its a pain in the ass. If you dont remove the batteries after every use... Itll drain them, after the batteries leak, they corrode the board and its junk. You can clean the board or get used to removing the batteries all the time. Im a mechanic and I use my meter almost 5 days a week so I thought Id be fine, Im wrong.... Also got a klein meter, its better because it works, but reads super slow, so Im out of pocket about 600 with pouches to carry them in and should of got the damn 87v from fluke. Would if been better off, but now I know about other junk out there.

A great idea for a portable DMM. The remote display is very handy and removes the requirement for long BNC cables.

Although Ive heard about battery complaints, I purchased mine over a month ago and have had no issues. Obviously, there needs to be something there to power a transmitter. But a different meter if you dont like changing batteries, I guess? The remote display is worth it, and fluke knew it.

This item was received in a timely fashion in excellent shape and packaging. I have been using it at work in a manufacturing/plating area and it has performed as advertised. It has made my job safer and easier. Thank you.

I just purchased this DMM a few days ago. The wireless function is a lifesaver. I have been employed by a bus (Touring Coach) dealership for the past 14 years, as a service technician (mostly electrical/electronic circuit troubleshooting and tracing.

The Fluke 233 is a good meter for the intermediate user. It offers nice features but that has a major design flaw...
