> 3 dayWorks great for what I need it for as a field tech who works alone. Don’t need a second person to push buttons while testing on opposite end of machinery

29-11-2024This is the best DMM that I have used to date. I use it multiple times a day. The removable display is great when working on cars or when needing both your hand elsewhere.

> 3 dayThe meter and its features are great, I used it at home a few times and use it at work repairing cars. I have had this meter 2 years now, its held up very well, but after today its GONE, I traded it in and bought a Fluke 88. I am sick and tired of having to pull and install the batteries each time I use the meter! You have to remove the batteries from the meter and display after using meter or they will be dead in a day or 2, even if you use the meter regularly, the batteries dont last. its a shame.... Sounds petty, just swap batteries and save money from getting a new meter, but Ive had it.

> 3 dayAfter being a diagnostic Technician for 50 years, I can tell that, if you need any sort of electrical meter or accessory, you cant do better than Fluke, and this unit is no exception....Works as well as my 5 other meters, but the wireless display is priceless! (well okay $300 is a price). I work mostly on cars and trucks, and setting up the tester and leads on end of the vehicle, while i sit in the drivers seat with the display and work switchs cant be beat.

> 3 dayThis meter is great ! Has a lot of features that are very helpful. One of them is a detachable screen the other is a backlit display ! I find both of theses features very worth the purchase! I find it interesting about the battery comments.... Ay time you have something that is transmitting signals to another device its going to take power... Ive had other meters batteries last a few months, not a big deal ! These batteries are 10 times easier to get to than other meters i have used. i hate having to find a tiny screwdriver to take the cover off to change the 9v .The other nice thing is the batteries are AA not 9v much cheaper and easier to come by.. If you get desperate you could always take one out of the tv remote.

> 3 dayI just purchased this DMM a few days ago. The wireless function is a lifesaver. I have been employed by a bus (Touring Coach) dealership for the past 14 years, as a service technician (mostly electrical/electronic circuit troubleshooting and tracing.

> 3 dayI run an automotive diagnostics shop, so my meters get used fairly often. Went for a couple of months without using this particular one (because it doesnt have a lot of the functions that my primary meter does -- duty cycle, dwell, etc.), and came back to corroded batteries. When I put new batteries in it, two of the spring terminals broke completely off, removed them, and the plastic that they snap into broke. Ordered new replacement parts (terminals and a back housing) for super cheap directly from Fluke, cleaned the corrosion off the mainboards, and now we have an RF ERR and Overvoltage message. Great idea with that remote display, Fluke, but I feel like I just threw away $300+.

28-11-2024Although Ive heard about battery complaints, I purchased mine over a month ago and have had no issues. Obviously, there needs to be something there to power a transmitter. But a different meter if you dont like changing batteries, I guess? The remote display is worth it, and fluke knew it.
