> 3 dayThis meter is an essential for anybody who does a lot of testing. I am an industrial electrician and this is the tool I use most often. It does not differ from the T5-1000 in anything but safety rating (I need the 1000 model due to working with higher voltages). If you are looking for a model that you can use at lower voltages, such as around the house and garage, the T5-600 is more than adequate. I especially like that these will switch between reading AC/DC internally without the need to change the setting myself, which allows room for human error. Do yourself a favor and invest in a good meter, for no other reason than safety, a cheap meter can blow up in your hand, but his meter is also forgiving and will not fry if you were to make a wrong move. I have much more capable meters at my disposal, but due to the size and ease of use, the T5 series is my go to.

Greater than one weekIve been a commercial electrician for 14 years and have always had this meter. The only reason I had to buy a new one was because my last meter was stolen. They are very durable and easy to use.
