02-06-2025The open jaw meter reads .1 A no matter what it’s reading. Fluke usually produces quality products, but this one is junk.

> 3 dayThis equipment seems to be of very high quality materials. Operation of this tester is simple and very straight forward. I have talked to contractors that use this tester, and they are impressed with its reliability and ruggedness of its construction. Highly recommend!

Greater than one weekAfter being an electrician for over 30 years I can tell you dont want guess about electricity. I have several Fluke meters that most people want need but for the average person this meter is easy to use and at a good price. Auto select between AC & DC. Just turn it on and put your test probes on what your checking ( 600 Volts AC & under) and it will give you the voltage along with if its AC or DC. Turn the knob to amps and slide forked end of meter over wire and you gets amps. GREAT PRODUCT.

07-06-2025This meter is the best I have ever owned and I have had a couple over the years. I am a homeowner that likes to do all my electrical work myself so this is a must have. I can attest to the quality and durability...I made a booboo and accidentally arc flashed the leads by mistake and the meter still works just fine. I know if I had done that with one of my older/cheaper meters it would be done for.

> 3 dayIm an electrician, I use it almost daily. I mean is trust this with my life, literally. When I need to check if whatever Im working on is not getting power I use this and ita always on point. Dont skimp on something that could save your life. Every single person at my company uses fluke meters (theres 97 techs) if that tell you something, and no there not company supplied

> 3 dayI work as a Master Mechanic is a large manufacturing plant and needed something I could shove in my pocket and not get the leads all tangled. I especially liked the open-jaw ammeter.
