The Flukers Reptile Incandescent Blue Daylight Bulb is a great choice for reptile and amphibian owners. The 60 watt bulb provides ample warmth and light for your pet, and the blue color adds a nice touch to the reptiles environment. The bulb is easy to install and fits most standard fixtures. Overall, I would recommend this product as an effective and practical way to keep your reptile or amphibian healthy and happy. But they should be a bit more careful with shipping it, mine always comes loose in a box with too much free room to bounce around and no extra paddings.

Upon getting the fluckers bulbs and plugging them in they did not have the blue glow you would expect the bulb had a painted film on the glass of the bulb the light it’s self is not blue.

I like these. I wanted to use them for a while before I wrote a review. So far its doing exactly what its supposed too. Its keeping the tank warm, and its definitely a nice daylight bulb. I like that it comes with two, so I have a backup incase one burns out. Definitely worth the money, and quality is there.

Haven’t found a bulb that lasts more than a few months so I don’t expect this one to be any different. But our beardy is enjoying the rays.

Every time I have ordered one of these. It busts as soon as I turn it on. Dont waste your money on this.

Purchased on Jan 10 and today is Feb 20th. It went out this morning. Skip this bulb entirely and try something else, do not waste your money on something that barely lasts. Return window closed on Feb 9th so it’s convenient for the company to take your money.

Fluker"s incandescent light bulbs provide the radiant heat (infrared light) that reptiles need. Reptiles are ectothermic and depend on their environmental temperature to regulate their core body temperature. If a reptile is not provided an appropriate environmental temperature  range (ETR), it may be predisposed to chronic infections. Because ETR"s vary from species to species, ask your pet professional or review available literature for guidance in determining the appropriate ETR for your pet.
