> 3 dayI had a cycled filter system and tank until the filter went out and after 7 years experience I knew I would need something so I poured a 8oz bottle into the new filter system and I never had any problems!!!!! I did have to wait a few weeks before a full water change as I only have 1 fish in this 55 gallon tank!!!! Thanks to this product my little guy Percy the JD is doing great!!!!! I would say without question this product in heavy dosage can keep you in enough nitrates without the bad and keep fish immediately!!!! IMO thanks for reading

07-06-2025I am fortunate enough to understand that this is not exactly an immediate fix for an uncycled tank. No fish deaths. However, what this stuff is excellent at is speeding up the cycling process. I tracked my 10gal aquarium parameters until they all held stead at 0ppm Ammonia, 0ppm Nitrite, 5ppm Nitrate for 3 days. It took me 24 days to do so, using the recommended dosage of this fluval bacteria. NOTE: You still need to do water changes when you are cycling a tank. I didnt until the last week and then boom... cycling finished 4 days after I did daily water changes. After that you can do the normal 1 per week. Overall, Excellent product for speeding up a tanks cycling. I believe that I could have done it in 2 weeks instead of 3 had I dont more regular water changes. But, for the love of God, DONT ADD FISH IMMEDIATELY!
