We needed to get a bigger turtle tank & the original hose for out 406 was not long enough to reach anymore. This was the exact perfect fit I needed. I cut the tub in half and still needed to cut a little extra off when doing my final fitting. I think the whole tube in about 9ft long. The intention it to cut it since both ends have the white gasket that is suppose to fit on the canister. If youll need your intake & outtake hoses to be linger than 4.5feet that you should buy 2. Otherwise one is perfect.

Original manufacture part I cut the wrong side of the hose was worried I was going to lose my fish . I was happy I was able to receive next day no other place had it around

Good and worked the week I had it. Too bad my pump broke.

Was a bit expensive but it did what we needed. Cut to two lengths we needed to relocate pump/filter underneither new cabinet stand.

Very happy I bought an extra hose instead of cutting the one the filter comes with gives me extra length to go around the tank.

Perfect length to cut in half and replace both hoses on my old Fluval 305 for hanging over the back of a 36 gallon bow-front and snaking into the cabinet for hidden canister installation. I let mine soak in some sunlight to help make it more pliable for installation, and I used a PVC cutter to get a pretty even cut, but regular scissors would probably have worked just as well.

Works perfectly fine, no issues, installed fast, easy to install and replace the old one that had broken for me.
