> 24 hourIm going to purchase the kit again and try one more time. I hate giving up! I thought everything was going smooth til somehow I cut the wire of the Home Button and screwed it up. As for the Touch Screen, I dont know if damaging the home button affected the sensors of the screen, but when I went to enter my passcode, the numbers were punching themselves so fast that I could not press the delete button in time cause the iPad to lock. I tried so many times, that now I have to wait 30 hours to try again. So I checked online and read that the estimate for a cracked screen repair is $250 with Apple. Walmart just happened to have a sale on Gen 9, so I purchased a new iPad for $280. What a deal! So, I figure now that I have 2 iPads, Ill try again to change the screen. Side note - I purchased an adhesive tape, because I hear the adhesive on the screen was weak. Below is the link. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0817K1JQT?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

> 24 hourThe touch screen and digitizer are super clear. Comes with protection so you don’t get fingerprints on anything. You just need to triple check that you have the correct parts. Read the instructions and make sure you are clear. Watch a couple of YouTube videos so you can follow someone through the process.

> 24 hourYou would think better quality for the price, not only is the glass, very thick like cheaply made glass, the touch does not work at all. It just jumps around the screen like somethings touching it. Everywhere I have worked in the cell phone repair industry for many years, and I have never gotten a part quite as bad as this.

> 24 hourGreat screen replacement for the Apple iPad 8th gen! Everything is working (please note that touch ID will only work if you salvage the original connector/button). The difficult part of the install was removing the original glass screen. The included tools work well, especially the magnetic screw driver and the metal screen removal tool. Unfortunately the Apple Pencil doesnt work 100% with this screen (as expected), theres some random movement. But the touch screen works great!
