> 3 dayThis thing was great! It went through wood like crazy! Just remember, patients. I have seen others complain about it bending. Its a 1/4 shaft! You have to take it easy or of course it will bend.

> 3 dayIve been a Diablo/Freud fan since my first Diablo saw blade. I was almost about to quit woodworking because my cuts on my table saw were terrible, had a Skil saw with Skil blades. It did the job but tearout was terrible. Tried to upgrade amount of teeth, got an Irwin blade, the blade itself developed Nasty Burn marks and left Burn marks on every cut. At this point I almost gave up. Then I opted to pay a bit more and try the powder coated Diablo blades. Every single cut was professional quality! I vowed to never buy any other brand other than Freud/Diablo! Everything from saw blades to even sandpaper never let me down! I just really really wish they made carbide band saw blades!!!! Seriously, the day you try it you will never go back. With this router bit, there is absolutely NO TEAR OUT NO MATTER HOW FAST YOU GO. Which you shouldnt rush a router bit cut but even if you for some reason do, you will be surprised! I was a little skeptical because of the angle, maybe it didnt cut 1/2 all the through the groove it it does! That slight angle cleanly slices through Walnut like its poplar! The shavings look like planer shavings! This thing is a monster!!! The pictures are after I cut (8) 16 x 1/2 deep grooves on walnut and not a carbide chip or paint chipping in sight! If you get the chance to get a Freud product, youll never settle for less. The brown stuff is the walnut dust.

25-11-2024I bought this bit for one reason to use it in my Festool MFK700 Its works great and fits with no issue or modification since the MFK700 horizontal base has some funky space limitations. This is the only bit that will fit unless you modify the Horz. base other than the festool one that costs way more. Otherwise its nice and sharp and cuts good.

20-11-2024good cost effective way to flatten wood slabs. Only drop about 1/16 at a time to the side of the project and only cut about 1/3-1/2 the size of the bit. Do not plunge into the project always start to the side. Ive used on many different woods (oak, maple, pear, mulberry, walnut, cherry) and also finished pieces with epoxy with no problems. Leaves a nice flat surface easy to sand smooth.

Greater than one weekWired that I would be prompted to use sheerness thickness and warmth in a router bit review, but here goes... I gave it one star for sheerness because its completely opaque( its a router bit). Regarding the thickness, I gave it 3 stars since it seems appropriately thick for a router bit. Gave three stars for warmth due to the fact that its a metal bit it takes on the temperature around it when not in use. Its a good router bit but, I would look elsewhere for sheerness thickness and warmth.

> 3 dayI used this on a bedframe build for my wife. I needed to mortise(or route out) a groove for a 3/4 walnut veneer plywood, and given the cost of the walnut, I was nervous. However, the bit was a perfect cut, nice tight fit, but not so tight as to strip the outer layer of the ply. Used a rubber mallet to tap it on, really nice lines. I attached pictures mid-build to show where the ply was used.
