Great product! I planed six 12 foot X 15 inch boards with no issues (both sides). I have cut some boards as deep as 1/4 or more. Cuts through hard wood such as oak, cherry, and mahogany quite easily. Ignore reviews claiming the bit bends, it wont unless you are being extremely foolish. Cuts through knots with no issues.

Seems very durable. I used it for several hours with no apparent ware. It did a nice job.

Works great and has a long enough shaft to work with my router table. Have already used 60 times.

Worked great. I think I will buy another but with the longer cutting surface

I have used Freud products for 30 years. Freud is quality tools and this router bit fits the bill. I am very happy with this tool.

I got this for plywood rabbit joints.. This bit makes the rabbit very tight indeed. Very sharp and smooth cut.

I got this for mortising joints in 1 pine as an alternative to a much more expensive dado blade to do the same job. I have not been disappointed. The bit is extremely sharp and even after quite a bit of use (all on pine) it is just as sharp as the first time I used it. It goes great with the Bosch Colt router (thats what I use it in). I set up a board as a guide and the bit makes a perfectly clean cut exactly 3/4 wide by however deep I want (up to 1/2 deep).

Regular 3/4 plywood fits perfectly in the dado with no visible gap. Have to tap longer pieces in with a rubber hammer, obviously cause no plywood is perfect. Excellent bit. Advice: If you polyurethane or paint plywood some plywood and try to get it into the dado it gets TIGHT. Still doable though.
