I used this with a Craftsman Professional Router. I needed to trim the end of a 1 and 1/2 butcherblock countertop to fit the wall. I hogged off the material needed and the bit left a nice flush cut. Well worth the price.

This is a great bit and worked well. I had one problem with it when the guide bearing froze up and I had to replace it.

Ive been using this on a Bosch router table to put a straight edge on my lumber. Once I got the router table set up perfectly I used this to plane about 400 linear feet of various grades of lumber. I then took the router off the table and used this to cut out an undermount sink in a 1 1/2 oak butcher block counter top. That really pushed this bit to its max, but it gave me a great finish. You need a decent router to get the most out of this and the other Freud bits.

1/2" (dia.) Bearing Flush Trim Bit with 1/2" shank, 4-3/8" overall length

From the Manufacturer

Freud"s precision ground carbide bits have a grain size smaller than other grades, and titanium is added making them impervious to chemical attack. Promoting safer woodworking is the reason Freud made a commitment to develop anti-kickback router bits. Bits are computer balanced to insure vibration-free operation at speeds that are a safe margin above the typical 22,000 RPMs of most routers. Freud"s philosophy is woodworkers should expect safety, not pay for it. Overall diameter 1/2-inch, carbide height 2-inch, shank diameter 1/2-inch.
