I put this on the kitchen counter to help with cooking smells while we wait for our range hood to be installed. By no means is this fast acting like a spray, but I dont want to use a spray odor eliminator around food. Its moderately perfume-y but not overpowering. You smell the scent more when you give it a little shake. I would love to find an odor eliminator that didnt ADD smells. My husband is prone to migraines and smells make them worse, which is why I got this to try. I like the colors of the beads, they arent garish and look nice on the counter without screaming Im here to eliminate smells!, as long as you turn the label away. When the beads have all been used up, there remained some liquid at the bottom with some tiny beads left. It was as if at some point, most of them just liquified near the end, and it didnt seem to be working any longer so I threw that out with the container. Probably it would be better suited for a small bedroom/dorm room or bathroom, rather than kitchen/dining area.

Our basement does not smell musty anymore. Seems to work well so far.

I think it’s a good smell but not sure how effective it really is

I ordered this to be delivered to my sailor on deployment. He said not all of his bunk mates shower as often as he’d like and this has helped make it tolerable to be in their vicinity. Probably because of the location it’s not lasting as long as I thought but I’ll still order another one.

Funkaway beads have a pleasant smell. I bought them for my teenage son’s bedroom. It did not help with the smell. I could barely smell the beads. I thought putting them in a smaller space would help. I put the beads in my car. From time to time, I can smell them, but not like I was expecting. I’ve used the spray in the past and have been pleased with how long the smell lasts. I cannot say the same for the beads.

Good price and helps my mudroom with the odor from my son’s hockey equipment

Well if you want something that will cover up a bad smell than you have to put up with a smell that may be worse than what you are dealing with. The odor of this made me nauseous and gave me a headache. I had to treat it like a toxic substance when I disposed of it.

I liked that it took away odors without producing its own. Keeps things smelling very well.
