FunkAway Odor Eliminating Beads, 12 oz, Supercharged Odor Absorbing Beads for the House, Car or Gym, Eliminate Smoke, Pet and Bathroom Odors for Long-Lasting Results

I moved into a new apartment. It smelled like paint and construction for weeks. Finally I decided to buy the odor neutralizer. It has been one day so I cant say how long it will last, however the original scent of paint is gone. The product itself does have a smell and it is rather chemical-y. I guess I prefer this over the original smell but I would prefer no smell at all.

Didn’t do anything special with regard to odor elimination. Smells good if held up to your nose. Not worth the money. Used it in a small bathroom. Didn’t notice a difference with or without it.

This is just a preliminary review based on unboxing. I will update in a few days. I have read reviews talking about how poorly this product is packaged. I believe them. I got this with two other items that were wrapped in bubble wrap so it survived the trip. This item is tossed into just a thin baggy with no closure. Had it been the only item in there, I am sure there would have been a mess. As it was, I relieved it of its useless baggy and when I attempted to unscrew lid, those jellies went flying. I can tell you that the inner seal (yellow layer) was in no way sealed to the jar rim and I had to dig it out with a knife blade from the jar lid to get to the perforated top. Several jellies went behind furniture in that initial unscrewing, probably to never be seen again. These things disintegrate into your fingers even when you attempt to retrieve them. There is very little scent so far, what little I can detect is quite pleasant and refreshing. Advice for now, order with some things that have good packaging material. AND OPEN IT in a confined area, maybe over a sink. Because when you unscrew the top lid, those babies are jumping jelly beans, be prepared to pry the yellow seal out of the jar lid so that you can get to the screen lid in between that yellow seal and outer jar lid.

I have mixed feelings about this product. I bought it because I bought garden compost, and tracked some of into my truck. The product took care of the smell, but here is my story. I live in Arkansas, and it it was around 90 degrees outside. I put the FunkAway product in the truck at night, and by morning the smell was gone. The problem occurred later that day. As the day got hotter, the container began to warp. Remember, I’ve had the product for less than 24 hours. I got in my truck to drive and noticed the container looked warped. I touched it, and the top popped off under pressure. The little orbs went everywhere. I mean, they shot out like a little orb cannon. The contain was on my dash, and the orbs went in the floor, all over the dash, inside the intake vents on the dash, and everywhere in between. It was pretty crazy. I wish I had it on video to post here. So…. Does the product work? Yes, actually quite well. Enough to remove the smell of compost from a hot truck. Should you keep this in a vehicle if it is getting hot outside? NO! But if you do, record it in slow-mo because the flying orbs are something to behold.

I had to unexpectedly take in a dog that has been outside. I kept the dog in the bathroom for a couple of nights to get use to us. He was very stinky. 1 funk away container eliminated the smell even with the dog not having a bath yet.

This is much cheaper than the stuff I have been using forever, but it still does the job. I use them next to the kitty litter box and by smelly gym shoes in the closet. It eliminates all the stink

Purchased this in a desperate attempt to rid my garage of rotten milk smell, (long story short a milk gallon exploded in the trunk of my car). It completely eliminates the smell and honestly makes my garage smell great even months after the milk fiasco. However, I bought two and figured I’d give this a shot in the room where I keep my cat’s litter box. THIS is where this little odor eliminator REALLY sold me! Absolutely amazing at neutralizing odor from my cat’s litter box. Truly a one-of-a-kind find as far as odor eliminating goes, this is the first thing I’ve found that really gets the job done. This on top of the litter box in combination with a sprinkle of baking soda mixed with her litter and I can’t smell a thing. Plus, it lasts for AGES!

I have two teenagers - one boy one girl - need I say more?? Walking into their rooms was a chore into itself - put one of these in each of their rooms and the funk is gone. NOT COVERED UP - GONE! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Used in a car to eliminate pet odor. Left in car for a few days with the windows up. Might work in other places better. Going to try something else now.
