Greater than one weekI had no idea she had THAT much loose fur on her. Our first use and I am very happy with the product and the quick delivery.

> 3 dayLoved the product and how it actually works how its suppose to but the Furejector (the little button slide on top that ejects the gathered up fur off the comb) is absolutely pointless. It does nothing. When you press it, nothing even happens. It pushes the fur wad a few centimeters but thats about it. You have a better outcome if you grab the fur right off the comb. The company would profit more if they took that function away and just made the design without it. I could be wrong though. Maybe i just dont have enough fur packed on the comb... Im not too sure. But other than that, I love the FURminator! I can definitely tell a difference once ive brushed them because theres less shed around the house and less flying tuffs of fur when i pet or play with them. I should of bought this a long time ago but thats what i get for being so indecisive.

> 3 daySister-in-law saw how much fur we got out of our cat, she wanted one, so we bought another to give her. She immediately said she & the cats loved it, and got piles and piles of fur out. for reference, we have a Maine-coon. 15lbs, super fluffy. He loves getting brushed, other brushes are ok, and he likes them (sometimes wants to wrestle them) but this one he doesnt attack, just consistently walking around purring while we brush him. It also gets 10x the hair off of him versus our bristle/wire? brushes.

> 3 dayI dont generally write reviews on products BUT I had to on this one. We recently acquired a cat that was shedding and was not used to being groomed. After consistent brushing for about 10 minutes, for 5 days, there is SO much less shedding! This is by far, the BEST product Ive used to groom my cats!!!

> 3 dayThis is a great tool. Takes out so much loose hair that the kitty would otherwise ingest. The new model has plastic guides so you cannot scrape the skin. I bought the large as my cat is 11 lbs and has short fur. It seems a little too large for her body and is a little heavy but still it works great.

21-11-2024I used my new Furminator for the first time today and I absolutely love it! I brush my cat every week bc he sheds so bad. I told my niece that I could stuff a pillow each time I brush him. She recommended the Furminator. Holy cow! The photo is after only 10 minutes of brushing. I can’t believe it. I will not use anything else - ever! It truly does get the undercoat. My cat loved it - flopped on his side and let me go to town. I’m sure feels amazing to him. I can’t recommend it enough.

19-11-2024When I’d brush my cat with his old brush, just as much fur would fly through the air as would get caught in the bristles. The furminator is fantastic at holding all the hair that’s loosened while brushing, and pulling out more loose hairs than my old brush. It’s helping reduce shedding when I pet him. My cat even purred the whole time I brushed him with this! Just be gentle because the metal teeth seem like they could easily get too intense.

Greater than one weekDoesn’t really grab as much hair as you expect. I have a medium hair and a short hair cat. To be friends, but I’m not really that impressed with this tool. After one stroke, maybe two strokes is when you would have to empty the tool. It takes forever and it is not time, saving it all.
