Greater than one weekI installed these to hold up bookshelves in my house. While I was testing out the installation to ensure they would be secure enough to prevent a bookshelf from tipping over onto a child, one of the bands broke. These may not be safe to use. If you do use them, you may want to install more than one on each piece of furniture.

> 3 dayThese furniture anchors were what we chose to help make our house safe for visits from our grandchildren. They are easy to install, and do the job well, while being unobtrusive. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekI really love this product. Its great for anchoring everything down when you have a small children. I switched out the drywall anchors for 100lbs holds instead of the ones they provided. I love the wire screw locking mechanism.

> 3 dayThese are very sturdy anchors, but the cables are too long. I have to loop the cables through 2-3 times to get a tight hold which is a pain. Much better than the plastic alternatives though which consistently break.

> 3 dayPurchased a bookcase. Liked the look but it seemed unstable, so I purchased the furniture anchors. They are strong and are not noticeable. The give me a sense of comfort.

Greater than one weekI live in California so have items like bookshelves tied down for earthquakes. I also have a toddler that loves to climb. This lock does not need you to be 100% correct on location of both pieces so anyone can install it. It is very easy to undo as well.

> 3 dayOverall not bad, but double check everything. Some of the cable crimping is bad, so definitely test pull each wire before installing. I had 2 fail on me. Use your own screws and your own drywall anchors if not installing into a stud. I had one of those just pull out of the wall as well. The screws are what Ive come to expect as cheap Chinese garbage that strips the head with the slightest amount of torque. But the brackets and properly crimped cables seem to work great.
