Greater than one weekI bought 3 of the 10 packs of these and so far have had to throw away about a quarter of the metal ties. The weak spot is the connection point on the end of the wire. You screw it together and then can easily pull it apart with just your hands, using barely any force-definitely not anywhere near the 200lbs they are supposed to withstand. Sometimes the the metal barrel piece that you twist is so much larger than the threads on the other end of the tie that you can just slip it on and off without even having to twist it on. The ones that work seem like they will be sturdy, but Ive had to throw away so many that its definitely not worth the money. Save your money and your sanity and find a different product.

> 3 dayThese are only suitable for a lightweight dresser or bookcase without heavy books. The screws are aluminum or nonferrous metal; I would not trust them holding a heavy bookcase. The 1-inch screws for the wall mount are for use with the 30# drywall anchors. However, they need longer to bite into a wall stud under 1/2 inch sheetrock. So I had to use my 2-inch screws. The screws for the furniture mount are dull and only suitable for composite furniture. Attachment to quality hardwood furniture requires pre-drilling. The bottom line is that the installation required tools and techniques that should not have been necessary, and the safety factor is questionable.

> 3 dayPretty straight forward, easy install. Feels sturdy as I mounted the bookshelf into the studs. Comes with drywall anchors with every individual anchor in the pack as well. I know there are lots of choices on the market, but these seem solid at a great value.

> 3 dayThe ties are a bit long if you’re trying to secure a bookshelf or dresser. They say to wrap the wire twice if it’s too long but that double the install time become they are little wires going through little holes with very little visibility when you’re trying to tighten a large piece of furniture to a wall. Also, not a huge deal but, I bought the black ones because they showed up as lightening deal but I wish I had paid a few dollars more for the white.

> 3 dayI used 2 for a bookshelf 1 on each side. I also used 2 to secure an outlet that has stuff plugged in just replaced the metal wire with noconductive material (I used a boot lace).
