Well constructed compact umbrella. I ordered the silver/pink combo and highly recommended it. Note: not wind resistant.

I just received this and have only tested it briefly, but sitting out in the sun using this umbrella I felt noticeably cooler - its instant shade, basically. I also compared it to a regular lightweight umbrella. The regular umbrella filters the sun so its more comfortable than direct sun, but this is definitely cooler than the regular umbrella. It is slightly heavier/bulkier than a standard umbrella of the same size, but not so much that I expect it to be a problem. The sleeve with velcro flap is a nice touch that makes it easier to get the umbrella back in the sleeve, unlike those where its too tight to actually be useful.

Buttons to open and close is a plus!

It bounced back after closing it. Hit me in the face.

It helps to reduce heat. It is very sturdy. Fyi: the umbrella smells really bad for few days. It took more than 4 outings in the sun to get rid of the smell.

This umbrella is soo easy to use. I like how you can just click the button to open up and and also to close. All you have to do is just push down and wrap to close. It also comes with a sleeve to put it in for easy storage. I have a slot in my car just for umbrella so it is perfect. I also like the fact that you can pick different colors I went with the light blue color. I highly recommend this product.

Sun and heat protection

I purchased this to bring to the dog park just to have shade and yes this works great. Highly recommended

Bought 2 of these for our Disneyland trip. Amazingly the temperature was definitely cooler under these canopy shades. You do need to put a little muscle into closing the shade and securing the velcro strap but that’s just a minor thing for me. The only thing I can really complain about is the smell. When I received this package, there was a smell similar to a dead gecko. I used Lysol wipes and aired them out before packing into my luggage and it was fine after that.
