As a teacher, I use this everyday for outdoor recess. The playground has no shade and this umbrella provides the shade I need while on duty! I can even feel a difference in temperature when I am under the umbrella. I have had this product for over a month now, and so far so good!

Bought this for my mom. The umbrella is not very heavy, but it was heavy enough for her to complain about wrist pain when using it. She also had a hard time closing it. A bit too hard for her. But overall its a good umbrella. I had to return it.

When I initially received it, it felt like a sturdy and well-built umbrella. I use it about 10 minutes a day about four times a week when I go walking. Maybe used it once or twice for rain. After about six months, the frame showed rust at the joints. I barely used it for rain and made sure to dry it afterward. Also, tiny holes started appearing in the umbrella part. It still functioned great for blocking the sun. After about nine months, the top of the umbrella no longer opens. It is useless now. For a $25 umbrella, I expected it to last longer. It was good while it lasted, especially as a compact sun umbrella. Edit: update from 2 stars to 4 stars. Fixed the issue with it not opening up, by closing it all the way first until I heard a click, and then opening it again.

No more headaches in the sun. I have tried regular umbrellas. They dont keep me from getting headaches in the sun. This one does the job. It auto opens perfectly. The auto close only gets it half way closed. You have to be very strong to close it the rest of the way. I still love it. UPDATE: I own 2 of these. One broke after just a few months. (The other one is going strong after hundreds of uses.) I only used it maybe 20 times. G4FREE says it has a 1 year warranty, but the link to their site does not work. I was not able to get a replacement. I still give it 4 stars, and I am still buying another one because it does the job and I need it. I tried 2 other brands, and they do not reflect the sun as well.

This umbrella is much more sturdy than (rain) fantastic sun protection! Love it! Price was a bit high, but when I seen how durable it looked and after used it ones! I have to admit, that is worth it! Thank you Amazon! You did it again!

Opens easily and provides great shade! Agree with other reviews that mentioned it having a bit of a funky odor to it, but after a day of use at Disneyland it was no longer noticeable. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointed that it broke the first day of my trip. I was looking forward to using it and had to toss it being too far away to return it. I cannot recommend this. Cheap umbrellas held up far better.

I just received this and have only tested it briefly, but sitting out in the sun using this umbrella I felt noticeably cooler - its instant shade, basically. I also compared it to a regular lightweight umbrella. The regular umbrella filters the sun so its more comfortable than direct sun, but this is definitely cooler than the regular umbrella. It is slightly heavier/bulkier than a standard umbrella of the same size, but not so much that I expect it to be a problem. The sleeve with velcro flap is a nice touch that makes it easier to get the umbrella back in the sleeve, unlike those where its too tight to actually be useful.
