I bought these to attach a couple of sandbags to the underside of our patio furniture. They moved across our patio in some recent 40+ mph winds. I needed carabiners big enough to hook around the frame. Works for what I wanted.

Strong material. Slick design. Opening and closing the hooks are smooth and very resistant.

These are incredibly sturdy and light, though I love how they arent bulk. They have a sleek design that can loop through tight spaces.

Good keychain and gear clips. Cant imagine anyone would trust their life on these though

I live in the city, and use these primarily as a quick way to attach the dog leash to an object so I can have my hands free (to eat, for example). These are a nice size, very lightweight, and appear to be very sturdy. They are easy to operate. The gate is spring-loaded, and will close automatically when you release it. There is no lock on the gate, it is held in place with spring tension. I suspect they will last forever in this application. The key-rings are a nice bonus. There were 4 carabiners and key rings in my package, and thats more than I need currently. But, I expect to find more uses for them over time.

When I look for small items, I rely on the item picture for a quick order. This item picture is misleading with a set of addition hall small and colorful clips with a special price marked. Nope, received were just 4 big clips and none of the small clips which are what I really need.
