This was a replacement for the same I bought at the MFA in Boston 15 years ago. It is so easy to handle, is compact, and has easy open and close mechanism. If you love Monet, youll love this umbrella!

Description says cover included. Never received on 2 purchases! Wrote galleria and they say they never made a cover or advertised a cover. Amazon screwed up! Need to change their description. Just hope spikes dont catch or break. Other than that print Is beautiful. Hope it lasts and gives me years of happy walking in the rain.

This beautiful little umbrella has made someone very happy. Now she cannot wait for it to rain again!

The mechanism on this umbrella is strong. It opens quickly and powerfully (scares the dog!). This pattern is very pretty and gets lots of compliments. It closes up securely for storage.

The Monet exhibit came to my city a long time ago... and was one of the things Mom and I did together.. She bought the Secret Gardens umbrella there years ago and of all of her collection of Brollies was her favorite. It broke about 3 years ago and I had been looking ever since for an acceptable replacement.. This is a very nice bumbershoot, and I really like the fiberglass design.. far less risk of her cutting her paper thin skin on metal, and it feels a lot more flexible and sturdy. This model is also a very pleasing print, and is larger than her previous one.. It is almost enough for 2 people. I also like the fact it is both auto open and with a second press will close the canopy with a snap.. then all you have to do is push it back together to collapse it. Thank you so much.. I just wanted to give her something nice she would enjoy and actually needed. Con... I was minor disappointed that this particular purchase comes without a matching sleeve, but she said it is OK and probably would never use it anyway.. so it is alright.. Namaste... Au.

Replaced my lost umbrella with this one, so I havent had this one too long but I loved the other one enough to get this one and that I had for months without any functional issues

This is the first nice umbrella I have bought. I got it for my wife as a Christmas gift and she loves it. Its great for keeping in her car or purse. The auto open and close feature is pretty impressive and the color scheme is really nice and classy looking. I would definily recommend this umbrella and will probably buy another in the future for myself.

This umbrella looks nice and sturdy. It has strong frame so that it is quite heavy (1 lb) for me as a petite woman. One drawback I noticed after purchasing it is that it requires a little muscle to close the umbrella all the way. (It closes half way automatically by pushing button, though) I think it may be difficult for elderly people or people with arthritis in hands to close the umbrella.
