> 3 dayThe tube arrived cracked ans since its hot out, the gallium liquefied and went EVERYWHERE. There was no saving it. Like, all over the paper it came with, covering everything inside in a layer of gallium. I tried to collect what I could, but that seemes to make it worse. Returning bc this has been a nightmare. Also, gallium is incredibly difficult to get out of carpet.

> 3 daySeems to be very pure. It was pure silver in color when I first started playing with it but has developed a matte coating over time. Its probably normal oxidation but I cant say for sure. Its a fun demonstration tool when discussing melting points and physical elemental states.

11-06-2025Edit; I did a little googling... got it to harden to normal by getting it super cold, agitation, super cold again. Seems kosher now, room temp for a while. Didnt know it could get stuck in the fluid state. Very disappointed. I received it a few hours ago, totally liquid, was about 68° outside, figured it may have gotten warm in the mail truck. Hours later, still full thin liquid and my house is 70°. Should be SOLID under 85° !
