> 24 hourI replaced my Fitbit with this. I made the right move. If you enjoy working out and tracking it this is great. Very rarely has it confused something I was doing with a workout. If you go to the gym on a regular basis this is the watch for you.

> 24 hourThe watch constantly loses connection to my iPhone (iPhone Xs) and my old Garmin (FR35) hasnt had these issues. The watch burns 2% of battery every hour (regardless of features enabled) so it is dead after two days. The watch itself is nicely made, but the software is what Im assuming is the culprit!

> 24 hourOverall the watch does a good job with monitoring my various workouts, and is at its best when cycling. Its not that easy to navigate the various controls, and the watch face is confusing. But I like it.

> 24 hourWorst piece of technology I ever purchased. I bought this to replace a 6 year old Garmin Vivoactive HR. That watch was simple to set up and use. With the forerunner 245 absolutely nothing worked. It would not connect to WI FI. I spent hours trying to set up simple data screens with no success. After many try’s setting up data screens the watch began to make loud, bizarre buzzing noises. During one of my failed attempts the watch somehow decided I was going for a run and started telling me my pace and heart rate. The heart rate reported was 198. I am 67 and have a resting heart rate in the low 60’s. If my heart was actually beating that fast I would be in an emergency room. I fully charged the battery when I got the watch, but during 3 hours of trying to set it up the battery drained to almost zero. Again I compare to my older, simpler Vivoactive HR. On that watch I had 9 very useful data screens and could easily scroll through using the touch screen. On the 245 no matter what I did I only got 4 data points and three of them were the same. Five buttons and no touch screen made this a very difficult watch to use. The how to videos from Garmin were worthless. I watched one of them 15 or 20 times, at no point did the video resemble what I saw on my watch. There were so many random and strange things that happened while trying to set up the watch. A couple of times it would just start counting backwards from a hundred. For long periods it would only display heart rate, even when I wasn’t wearing it. I don’t think I have ever owned something that was truly a lemon. This was truly a lemon. I really don’t know what to get in it’s place. Even if it worked properly, it was way too complicated to operate.
