Greater than one weekLove all the technology on this watch. It takes awhile to figure it all out. Would like better instructions.

> 3 dayAfter wearing this for a few days I developed the worst rash of my life which was due to the wristband. After replacing the wristband the rash went away. I have no known allergies and this was the first time something like this has happened to me. Before this I had the FR235 and never had a similar issue.

> 3 dayIt was time for an upgrade from my Garmin 25 (yes, lol!) and based on reviews and my personal needs I chose this 245. Im pleased that I did! It has many, many more features that I had available on my previous watch. It connects to GPS in a brief second. The app is amazing! So many things to track (or not if you choose). My watch arrived very quickly and was exactly as advertised. I would purchase from this company again and would definitely recommend the Garmin Forerunner 245 to others.

> 3 dayOverall, the functionality and features of the watch are great. The screen cracked from normal wear within a month of purchase (I was shopping when I noticed it cracked). Garmin tells me its $120 to repair the watch as it is not covered under warranty. $300 for 28 days of use. Garbage product supported by a garbage company. Unless you live in a world surrounded by pillows, dont buy this watch.

> 3 dayIt sometimes about a dozen attempts to sync it with PC, you have to remove and reinstall and fiddle with it forever to sync. Garmin, get the software right!!!! Otherwise it would be a good watch, just the frustration of dealing with incompetent software on the PC.

> 3 dayIve had it about a year now. GPS distance is consistent with a previous Garmin, Tomtom and Iwatch that I had. (I really didnt care for the iwatch for running and biking). GPS connect time is quicker than all previous watches mentioned although nothing mind blowing. I also bought the dynamics pod which is a bit of a novelty but on very long runs I see where my stride, vertical oscillation and ground contact time start to breakdown. So I will say that it makes me concentrate on form towards the ends of long runs. The PODs been through the washer twice and still works (now I have a system to remember to take it off my shorts). The band was excellent out of the box and is holding up well. I have the music version and love that. Music controls are easy and it syncs with my off-brand blue tooth buds quickly every time and it doesnt cut out when my arm swings behind my body (Tomtom did with low battery). I also have a Trek cadence pod on my road bike which also syncs immediately. Charging time is superior to the previous mentioned watches and life is excellent. I use it for workouts mostly not all the sleep tracking, steps per day, etc etc for those that wear a watch 24/7. I played with all that but its not why I got the watch. The heart rate monitor, blood oxygen level, and Vo2 estimator are useful and I always review the feedback it gives for each workout. I would buy it again.

> 3 dayReally like this as a fitness tracker to replace my old Garmin forerunner. Having buttons instead of a touch screen works, and it let me customize the main screen exactly how I wanted it, which is what I hated about Fitbit. Tracks sleep well and workouts. My only problem with it is that it will not notice Im exercising unless I specifically tell it to start tracking. My old one would notice vigorous movement and high heart rate and just start logging it as a workout, but this one wont. It ends up with my weekly numbers lower than they should be because I keep forgetting to start it.
