Garmin Edge Extended Out-Front Mount

Easy to install, strong mount.

Die Halterung ist sehr hochwertig, lässt sich leicht montieren, sieht edel aus und wackelt auch bei stärkeren Erschütterungen wie z.B. Kopfsteinpflaser kein bisschen.

I used this on my recent trip to France and found it to be reliable and accurate. The maps are clear on a bright day and dynamically change if I went off route. the instructions are not as clear as they should be. For example if you download and follow a pre-defined route, the Garmin will not save your travel unless you Start a ride. Ditto for stop. The on screen buttons are not really intuitive and could be better illustrated. The battery life was fine on GPS mode even over a full days ride, and recharged overnight easily for the next days ride. A good addition to the tourer, but practise using it before setting out !!

The difference between this extended mount and the standard one is effectively the placement of the hinge and locking screw and £5.

Bit of a faff to get fitted! Too loose without the thin rubber - will not fit with it - sorted by using half the thin rubber insert!

Same mount as the one that comes with the Garmin Edge 1000.

Puts the units right where you want it! nuff said.
