Garmin Forerunner 920XT Quick Release Kit

This thing is brilliant. If you are a cyclist and have a 920XT (which is still probably one of the best, albeit ugliest cycling watches out there), just buy it. You have no idea what you are missing trying to look at your wrist rather than your handlebar stem. The trademark Garmin rubber bands are totally sketch, but the thing is, they work and are durable.

Love it. Works perfectly...21.99 versus buying a new cycling computer. For triathletes, at least this one, it is a great way to go easily from swim to bike to run.

So, yes its tall, but there is a bigger problem that relates to product compatibility. Ill try to explain this as best I can. I had planned on occasionally removing my Garmin 510 from my Garmin Out-front bike mount and replacing it with the new 920XT for specific du/tri situations. But for most applications, I wanted to use the more visible 510. So, assuming that both Garmin computers were interchangeable on the Garmin mount, I purchased this quick release kit (again, all Garmin products). After installing the quick release kit to the 920XT I noticed that the two fins on the back of the watch are rotated 90 degrees as compared to the same locking mechanism molded to the back side of the 510. It requires an allen wrench to remove the disc in the center of the Garmin mount. One must then rotate the disc and replace the allen screws in order to change computers. So, yes both Garmin computers are technically interchangeable on the Garmin mount, but its just a big ordeal. Disappointing:(

Exactly what I needed to set up quick release for my Garmin 920XT.

Certes la montre gagne un peu en épaisseur mais elle devient un vrai compteur pour le vélo. Je suis super satisfait. Petit hic, il faut retirer le support de la montre pour la recharger. Point positif, plusieurs lots délastique fournit directement. Installation très simple aussi bien sur la montre que sur le vélo! Je recommande!

Il KIT funziona perfettamente e si monta in 5/10 minuti. Soddisfatto.

Garmin esta en todos los detalles! excelente compañero de entrenamiento, no escatima en ninguna de sus presentaciones y repuestos, etc. muy confiable.
