Garmin Mount Connects Suction Cup with Unit

Works well

The item works, so far. What concerns me is this item is advertised as, Garmin-Universal-Mount. This is an aftermarket product and not Garmin at all! I wanted to purchase a Garmin product. Had I wanted a cheaper aftermarket item I could have done so and saved paying a premium. I will report and rate the features of this unit at a later date when Ive had a chance to use the mount for a while.

I like this and it works well, but got the same product in Target for $1.50 with the suction cup. Three stars for the price

It was just the part we needed to fit on the ball of our mount. Should have ordered more than one for future use.

Clips right onto the 17mm ball, and gives the right amount of friction to hold the GPS receiver in position, even during rough roads...

I purchased this as an extra mount to use with my Nuvi 2699 GPS on my Spyder Can Am reverse trike. I modified it to attach a RAM mount for extra stability. Its an original Garmin product not a duplicate like some of the other reviewers have mentioned.
