Garmin Mount Connects Suction Cup with Unit

Lost the original. No idea where I left it. This came quickly and was the identical replacement. Works perfectly.

I went on vacation and as always brought my GPS device. When I picked up my rental car and went to attach the device to the windshield I realized I forgot to bring this little mounting piece. Needless to say it was very difficult trying to prop my GPS somewhere that would allow me to see the screen while driving. When this item arrived it fit my device perfectly and allowed me to mount my GPS securely to the windshield in the hot Florida sun where it remained for an entire week. It literally saved my vacation and potentially my life.

If you use your Garmin GPS in more than one vehicle with different mounts, you will find it easier to keep this connect-device on each mount, rather than pulling out the ball from the mount each time, which can eventually cause the ball and socket joint to become too loose.

OEM replacement. Didn’t realize how loose my other one was. Should have bought it sooner

This item did not show up in my initial search, I think because I didnt know the right words to use for what I wanted. I bought from an after-market, third-party manufacturer and suffered buyers remorse as the device did not fit my Garmin as the description promised. I went to the Garmin website which took me right back to Amazon and the REAL Garmin Universal Mount. Fits perfectly and the engineering and production are just great. Look for the GARMIN stamp when you buy.
