Dont believe the idiots saying this is a knock-off. The one I received is genuine Garmin- Fits my Nuvi 2597LMT perfectly and fits my original Garmin windshield mount perfectly.

I had to buy this part separately because 2 small pieces that hold the ball had snapped off. It did take a few years for that to happen though.

Great replacement for my garmin and it fits! Works great too. Now my gps isn’t falls he down while I drive.

Our Garmin GPS came with a suction cup mount but we use GPS in the RV with the sand bag mount. However, we realized that we could use the GPS in the car for situations where the cell phone and Google maps is just not available. Unfortunately, sometimes you just dont know what the coverage is going to be like till you get there. In any case, we ordered this part so we could move the GPS between vehicles more easily and it has worked out great for the most part.
