Garmin tactix Delta, Premium GPS Smartwatch with Specialized Tactical Features, Designed to Meet Military Standards

Great watch, highly recommend

I love the watch. It is the first smart watch for me so I have been learning how to work with it. I have music on there I use with my Bose ear buds. It keeps track of all my health stats. Theres a lot of things I want to do with it yet like use the maps and exercise things. It was worth the investment I would say. If I can learn how to do this you guys can too.

One of the best watches I have ever owned. This is a solid, well designed, and comfortable watch. Yes it is rugged. I do alot of hunting and this has come in handy with compass and mapping features. My line work work is extremely demanding so I have been skeptical if this thing will handle the abuse. It has seen high temp extremely dry conditions. It has seen deep mud and constant rain. It has held up to a few direct metal to lens strikes on the watch face. (Ones that would destroy other watches) It has seen suffering and pain that would break lesser watches... Feature wise its loaded (quick note to those that think they are squeal team 6 material this watch is not for you... DO NOT TAKE IT TO A CLASSIFIED BRIEF, ON OP, OR SENSITIVE ENVIRONMENT... BE SMART PLEASE....) That said it has all features and functions the other Garmin watches have and you can add more from the store. This thing shines with battery life (which can be manipulated by changing active features), durability, and land nav features. Its a great watch. 100% suggest.

It was difficult for me to purchase this because the cost seemed very high. when compared to the Fenix 6X Sapphire, they basically are the same. However, the tactix line is quite a bit more rugged. This watch is awesome.

Got this a month ago and now I feel I understand it well enough to give a review.

This is going to be a longer review, as i had issues finding the info i wanted on this watch.

The Garmin Delta Tactix is an outstanding product that I felt was specifically designed for my own use. All configurations, most notably land navigation, work splendidly and offer ease of access. Personally, Im set on keeping this watch on my wrist well into the later stages of my military career.

I wanted to get some use out of this before submitting my review. I’ve had this watch for a little over a year now. I do field surveying for a Telephone Company. Part of my job is locating and identifying utility poles and getting GPS coordinates for them. I’ve used a handled unit for years, but as I got older, trying to carry survey stakes, rangefinder, hammer, clipboard, water bottle and other items became too much even using a backpack.

This is definitely the best watch Ive ever owned. I love everything from the excellent fitness tracking and pulse oxygen to the ruggedness and durability.

Best GARMIN watch ever. Works amazing, battery is great and looks bad-ass. What more do you want?
