Garmin tactix Delta, Premium GPS Smartwatch with Specialized Tactical Features, Designed to Meet Military Standards

I like the watch overall except for the DLC coating on the bezel. It is definitely not diamond like coating. I barely hit it on my wall and a door frame a few times and it has multiple chips in the bezel.

I was sceptical at first due to a horrific experience with a Garmin Fenix 2 watch years ago but after reading reviews and several days of thinking I finally pulled the trigger on this watch and man am I glad that I did. Watch is beyond awesome. I owned a Samsung smart watch and this thing puts it to shame. Love it

This watch gives you PHENOMENAL amounts of data. Its the best. I got mine and after checking it out, my wife immediately sold her Apple Watch 6 and got one for herself.

Don’t get me wrong It’s a very attractive watch BUT scratches easy (coated steel) and doesn’t update software (like weather) flawlessly. I had to restart my Iphone and Garmin watch twice over a span of one week to reconnect them. For me this is more of a vacation and special event fitness watch and not for daily use. It’s not titanium.

This is my second garmin watch, I bought this to replace my Tactix Bravo. I loved the Tactix Bravo, but everything that the bravo was lacking has been upgraded in the delta. The UI is night and day different and more intuitive and efficient. The battery life is phenomenal, on smart watch mode it’ll last 21 days. GPS seems to connect faster than the bravo did. This is important to me as I use GPS functionality for EMS and rescue operations. The watch face is larger, which is a good thing for functionality but a bad thing if you like wearing your watch on the inside of your wrist like I do, I’ve had to start wearing it traditionally due to the size difference. I decided to not get the solar functioning, as it doesn’t actually recharge the watch, but makes the battery last longer. To me, that wasn’t worth the extra cost when a solar battery power bank is an option. I prefer this watch to my Apple Watch in almost every way, other than the App Store interface.

Wow. Over $800 for a watch and they cant even put an adult size wrist band on it. Timex can. Barely hanging on by last slot. Can hardly wait till I start moving and my wrists expand. Do better Garmin. Rest of features work so far, but what should have been a happy moment disappeared as I go online to find a wristband.

I received my Tactix Delta Sapphire today and out the box is had so many quality control issues it was a joke. The DLC bezel had numerous spots where the DLC coating was not complete and over one of the case lugs..where the bezel mates with the case...some type of adhesive or whatever had squeezed out at the seem. It was very noticeable when viewing the watch from the side. Save your money...
