Well thought out, well engineered. I returned my Mac that it was for and forgot to save the box for this, so can’t return it. But, it looks good sitting under a bench now. Not great for much besides 27” iMacs.

If (like me) youre too cheap to buy a pelican case for your $2000+ iMac, then this is certainly your second best bet. Its heavy and awkward but itll do for short car rides. I would not check it as luggage to fly with though.

If you can’t have a laptop (bc small screens suck) but you need to move around, this is your answer. I love it! Is it heavy? Of course, bc your precious iMac is big & awkward. But this handsome travel case disguises your cargo & allows an easy move.

This is one of the most impressive things I’ve bought. It has completely allowed me to use my iMac 27” as a mobile workstation it is incredibly sturdy and reliable. I will definitely look to gator for my future gear protection

This is great. Well made, supports the computer as well as the original packaging, but looks waaay better. Love the separate pockets for the mouse and trackpad. That big side pocket usually gets a few LaCie rugged drives or the like in there too. And when I realized it had a rain cover in there? Love. Never tried operating with it still in the case-get nervous about the Mac pro’s ventallation.

I do quite a bit of traveling with my Mac Pro since its my primary computer. I was always putting it on the back seat with a towel under it to protect it because I didnt know they made a computer case. I bought this after reading the reviews and Im so impressed with the quality of the case and how much protection it offers my computer. The case is very sturdy, the zippers are smooth when they open and close, the foam is high quality and I no longer worry about my computer cracking or getting damaged when I travel.

Its a quality case, but $220 is just way too much for this thing, especially for a soft case. Its almost as expensive as a hard pelican case! I bought this out of necessity because I was tired of repacking my iMac into its box when traveling around. I had hoped this case we more compact and tight, but not so much. Its cushioned a little bit for setting in a trunk but wouldnt feel very safe setting much on top of it or checking it on an airplane. Every time I use it I wonder if I should have just paid the extra money to get a hard case, then at least id have that option. Id say if this thing was $75-100 less Id be content, I just keep cringing at that $220 price tag and dont feel wonderful about this purchase.

This case is amazing and while results may vary, I was able to safely check my computer on a plane under the 50 lb limit. If youre like me, my suggestion is to (1) bubblewrap your computer (2) secure it in the Gator case and (3) [extra important] put the case BACK into the box in which it was shipped. Results may vary and I cant say this will work for everyone but this was the review I was looking for when buying this case so I hope it helps to know someone has done this successfully!
