Its a quality case, but $220 is just way too much for this thing, especially for a soft case. Its almost as expensive as a hard pelican case! I bought this out of necessity because I was tired of repacking my iMac into its box when traveling around. I had hoped this case we more compact and tight, but not so much. Its cushioned a little bit for setting in a trunk but wouldnt feel very safe setting much on top of it or checking it on an airplane. Every time I use it I wonder if I should have just paid the extra money to get a hard case, then at least id have that option. Id say if this thing was $75-100 less Id be content, I just keep cringing at that $220 price tag and dont feel wonderful about this purchase.

I’m most productive on my 27” iMAC, but generally make due with my MacBookPro or iPad Pro when traveling back and forth for extended stays in FLA — No more! This gives me a great option to pop my iMAC into the SUV or check it at the baggage counter. My iMAC is safe and sound in this sturdy, well-designed highly padded case. I couldn’t be happier with it.

Let me just state right off the bat that I will be keeping this case (tote, as they call it), but mainly because there are few other options. This case looks incredible, has all the right pockets in all the right places, is constructed well, and fits the 27 iMac very nicely for transportation. That said, my issue is with the hood portion. Inside of the front flap material is only a thin piece of foam (likely) and it should be a solid and sturdy piece of plastic so it can span the distance without hanging down into the viewers line-of-sight. In order to remedy this, I have to put something on top of the display to help hold it up, otherwise Ill just use the computer outside of the case—defeating half the purpose of the overall design in the first place. This portion is the smooth grey part that has the logo on it; its the flap on the front when zipped-up. All that needs to happen is a more rigid material sewn inside of it in that one section. After several emails with a very nice customer service rep, it became very apparent to me that the design team could care less about the issue. I wasnt even asking for a new bag, I just wanted acknowledgment of how this design was an oversight and theyll fix it on a Version 2. No such luck. Again, this case really does check all the boxes in all the right places (except one), and it will look super PRO to arrive carrying my iMac in such a case. But the one design flaw is big enough to drop my rating to a 3, and sadly I will not be able to work with my computer in the case, as that hood will be very bothersome. Itll be a carrying case and nothing more.

Wow! If you travel with an iMac look no further. I travel full time so to be able to transport it in every condition is incredible. The rain cover is awesome and allows the shoulder strap or handles to be used with the cover on. Post office lady even commented on how good the brand was when I picked it up. Buy it!

I’ve got a practice space downtown where I write and record music on my iMac. As the space is a little seedy, I’m hesitant to leave my iMac there, so rather than carry around in the box it came in, I figured a case would be better. While the case is essentially as big as the retail box, the padding is adjustable and easy to work with, and the shoulder strap helps a lot. The padded pockets on the back are pre-labeled with pictures, and if you really need to work from the case, there’s enough space and ventilation to keep the iMac at normal operating temperature. The only downside with working from the case is that it’s tricky to use the USB ports, particularly if you’re using a flash drive, as you need to take out the under-screen padding to keep from compromising the port. Otherwise, this case is amazing! Even though the price seemed high to me initially, the quality and durability makes it worth it. My love of my iMac has now spread further to include the case, which I’ve named Patrick.

I was hesitant to spend so much on a case but this is worth every penny. The quality is outstanding and my iMac 24 fits perfectly. I feel it is very well protected and makes it so easy for me to take my computer with me on trips. I like the outside pockets to carry my keyboard, mouse, mousepad, etc. I wasnt sure if I should order the version with wheels or without - I chose without and it works fine because I can place it on top of my wheeled luggage. Highly recommend!

I think its about $50 bucks too expensive , but it is the absolute best option for moving your imac. Especially if you have the 27 in imac light I do. I moved across country using this bag and even got to use my imac in the hotel rooms because the bag is just so portable and sensibly made. The pockets do bulge pretty bad when cords are in the front but thats not too much of a problem, its noticeable how the bag isnt as slim once the cords and keyboards are loaded in. I loaded my 27 in imac, macbook pro 2017 and 2013 models, plus and ipad and all the cords in this bag. Overall I honestly feel I made a great purchase and will keep this bag for years I assume. Cheers.

I love Gator cases and use them religiously for all of my gear; mostly guitars/basses/keyboards. I got this case to move my 10+ year old iMac across the country. This case fit everything and more (keyboard, mouse, cables, external hard drives, etc) and protected it all for the duration of my 2,000 mile journey. Can’t recommend Gator enough - you get what you pay for with them!!

I used this case for a recent move. It fits the Imac perfectly and there are pockets for the keyboard and other accessories. While this is somewhat bulky, the strap and handles make it easier to carry. The build quality is excellent and it feels secure and well protected. Overall, highly recommended.

I am on the road with my desktop Mac and use this carrier. I havent had it long enough to determine the durability. Its a little challenging to get the bulky computer into the bag initially, the learning curve is steep. It works well and I am not aware of anything else on the market to compete with this.
