The bulbs I received are not the same as the item pictured as they slightly different in size & shape as the bulbs in the photo & they are soft white not “Daylight” bright. I have bought the bulbs (pictured) many times so, I’m very familiar with them. Though dissatisfied, I chose to keep the bulbs because I didn’t want to bother with a return and figured I’d use them regardless of being different from what I expected. However, the bulbs keep flickering on and off continuously. Therefore, they are going back!

These light bulbs are great soft white light. Like real white. Its not yellow almost at all. They are not the brightest, but with such low power usage they are hard to beat! I have had these for about a month so I cannot yet say about longevity.

I think I love these lights. I purchased the soft white version several years ago and put them in the lamps in my living room. Recently. one of those bulbs which was in a lamp attached to a timer, failed. I havent tried to figure out if the amount of hours it was on equalled the supposed 10 years if used 3 hours a day guarantee was met or not. Nevertheless, I decided if I had to change the other two bulbs Id try the daylight bulbs. I like these more for this reason - I read a lot and had to put a fold=down task light next to my chair because the soft white bulb didnt produce enough light for me to read. What I dont like about them is the cold light they produce. Soft-light is yellow. It is more welcoming. BUT, Im not going to change back. Since all the lights are the same, it will have to do. I have marked the date I put the bulb in the lamp so now Ill be able to tell how many hours the bulb is used before it fails.

I was very dissatisfied with these bulb. Nothing like what was described on tv. Not bright enough, gives off a blueish light.

5.98 at Lowes right now! I really like the shape of these bulbs.

Lovely revamp of a well known efficient product!

I have bought these before and now replacing other bulbs. Two types daylight and one that is a warmer color. I have been getting daylight.

Let there be light and cost so little to use. Love the brightness.
