Greater than one weekOne of my Kohler toilets had developed a slow leak and every 1/2 hour the water level would lower enough for the toilet to kick-in and refill the water a bit. After a bit of research, found that this gasket/seal could be the cause of the slow leak. Instillation was pretty straight forward. Turned off the water valve below the toilet, and held down the flush valve to drain as much of the water. Then followed the directions, and I had the replacement installed in only about 10 minutes. Ive fairly handy around the house, but this is certainly something anyone can do. When I opened the water valve and the toilet filled up, the seal did its job, and have had no further leaks since I replaced it two months ago. Price was cheap enough, so ordered a few since I have three toilets in the house, and figure if one failed, better to have a couple spares!

> 3 dayNot as easy to replace as a standard flapper, but easy enough. Genuine part works exactly like the original and fit perfect. I appreciate that they did not gouge the price too much, although Im sure the production price is like 10 cents. Appreciate the next day shipping when the toilet is not working, needless to say.

> 3 dayMy toilet was leaking and when I opened the top to change the flapper (as I usually do on my other toilets) I realized that this toilet was different. I, of course started looking for options of changing the innards and ordered the complete cannister from Amazon (of course) I had it the next day and it looked just the one inside my toilet. But while looking up videos on how to change it I stumbled on a video of how to change the seal. The seal was only a third the cost of the cannister, so I ordered it, and it arrived quickly. I changed this out in about 5 minutes and it works perfectly. Not sure how long it will last, but for now its perfect!

> 3 dayEasy to install! Solved our issue with toilet refilling ALL the time! The old one was definitely worn and had bubbles. Lots of youtube tutorials on how to change this out. If your kohler toilet is running refilling a lot give this a shot before replacing!

> 3 dayFirst, I bought a cheap 3rd-party seal that was supposed to be compatible, but it leaked because the diameter was actually wrong. Then I bought this official Kohler seal, and it works great.

Greater than one weekTook a chance and tried to go cheap - bought a two-pack of aftermarket (non-Kohler) seals that sold for the same price as one Kohler. Wasted my time and money. Both leaked from the start. After taking a wire brush to all contact surfaces to ensure old seal left no remnants. Flipped each to see if I could seal - no dice. Kohler seal came a few days after order. Not a drop leaks anymore. Dont waste time and try to skimp. Go straight to Kohler. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.

> 3 dayThe hardest part of this was figuring out which one to order. Once I figured that out & this arrived it took me less than 10 minutes to remove the worn out seal, replace it with this & have the water to the toilet back on & flushing. Wooohooo. I was cursing Kohler when trying to identify which seal needed to buy - now that I know that & how well designed the system is for easy seal replacements I am back in love with Kohler products.

> 3 dayGreat price at about $6 for an original kohler seal for the toilet tank canister. Watch some YouTube videos on how easy to replace and install new seals- job done in less than 10 mins and save yourself time calling for plumber and get a plumbers bill.
