Had to buy this to protect my Samsung external drive. It went on well without problems. It’s just a bumper that protects the edges. Wish the rubber had some protection for the top and underside of the drive

Fits perfectly around the Samsung T7 as intended. Great build, quality. Goes on without an hassle. Only two wishes but they are small: 1) Its definitely protective. No doubt there, but maybe slight more cushion to the sides/corners even it it means making it a tad bigger in each dimenson (i.e. 1/8 or so) so one could actually feel that it would bounce if dropped. 2) If you make a few more colors I will buy more colors.

This protector fits well, but is not too tight to get on.

This will definitely protect your SSD from dropping it or getting scratched up from carrying it around in your bag. My only complaint is that you cannot see the LED light on the drive to know when it is ejected. It gets covered up by the silicone. A small hole that aligns with the light would fix this.

Does not come with a silicone bumper like the picture shows; misleading. Everything else is as described but you would be hard pressed to put 2 SSD with bumpers and cables with out it trying to bulge out.

I love how this sleeve is not loose. I was afraid that this would also be too thin for protection, but its not the case since it was thick, which is good because it will definitely protect my SSD! Installing it was very easy and it stays on it quite well and will not come off.

it fits the T7 ssd perfectly. Be sure to use it on T7.

I use Samsung T7s to backup two drives, and I use these silicone bumpers on the T7s. The bumpers help to prevent the drives from sliding around in an office drawer, and they help prevent you from accidentally causing a drive to skid off your desk if you bump it. The grippy-ness of silicone is an asset. Long ago, I once drove my car a few miles with my iPod on the roof; it was the grip of a silicone case that saved my device from sliding away into oblivion due to my sleepy inattention. Ive been a devotee of silicone cases, like these, ever since.

It seemed fine for a few months then this white stuff started growing on it. Nothing was spilled on it, I have three, this happened on one only. Cleaned it with alcohol, then a few months later its back. Its not the T7 drive. cant get any support, or a replacement. I would avoid this product. Especially if you keep you drive i a case or bag. Who knows what this stuff is.
