> 3 dayThis is exactly what I wanted. My only complaint (not worthy of dropping a star) would be that you cant see the status light because there is no hole in this case for it. For me, I need positive confirmation of drive status and this is non-negotiable. I made my own hole with a drill, and that took 5 minutes. But, it seems like something that can be easily added. Hopefully they see this!

> 3 dayThere’s an indicator light on all of these drives, but this case covers up that light

> 3 dayHad to buy this to protect my Samsung external drive. It went on well without problems. It’s just a bumper that protects the edges. Wish the rubber had some protection for the top and underside of the drive

> 3 dayMy Samsung t7 is a great companion, but I didnt enjoy the way it would scrape against my Macbook - metal on metal is not the best. This simple bumper was easy to put on, allows the drive to breathe, and matches the color of my red drive well. It would be nice if it had a hole in the corner for a tether but I could add one if I really wanted. Id buy this case again.

Greater than one weekI use Samsung T7s to backup two drives, and I use these silicone bumpers on the T7s. The bumpers help to prevent the drives from sliding around in an office drawer, and they help prevent you from accidentally causing a drive to skid off your desk if you bump it. The grippy-ness of silicone is an asset. Long ago, I once drove my car a few miles with my iPod on the roof; it was the grip of a silicone case that saved my device from sliding away into oblivion due to my sleepy inattention. Ive been a devotee of silicone cases, like these, ever since.
