Great additional protection for an already sturdy drive. Not as “grippy” as I thought it might be but it does the job for a shy price. I would buy again… and did for my blue T7 drive.

This is exactly what I wanted. My only complaint (not worthy of dropping a star) would be that you cant see the status light because there is no hole in this case for it. For me, I need positive confirmation of drive status and this is non-negotiable. I made my own hole with a drill, and that took 5 minutes. But, it seems like something that can be easily added. Hopefully they see this!

I use Samsung T7s to backup two drives, and I use these silicone bumpers on the T7s. The bumpers help to prevent the drives from sliding around in an office drawer, and they help prevent you from accidentally causing a drive to skid off your desk if you bump it. The grippy-ness of silicone is an asset. Long ago, I once drove my car a few miles with my iPod on the roof; it was the grip of a silicone case that saved my device from sliding away into oblivion due to my sleepy inattention. Ive been a devotee of silicone cases, like these, ever since.

It does what it is supposed to do, so you dont have to think about it. BUT the case does cover the led light of the SSD and that is not ideal.

This is the perfect addition to your hard drive.

This will definitely protect your SSD from dropping it or getting scratched up from carrying it around in your bag. My only complaint is that you cannot see the LED light on the drive to know when it is ejected. It gets covered up by the silicone. A small hole that aligns with the light would fix this.
