For me, in short summary, everything about this monitor shines, I was able to gsync with ease via freesync, the 165hz and refresh is superb! The built-in super-resolution setting was a total game-changer - far easier than manually changing sharpening settings in-game or via g-experience.

This monitor is the perfect size and shape for both gaming and work.

Best multi purpose monitor for gaming and media consumption. The blacks are black and there is very minimal backlight bleed. OSD is very convenient. I like the curve, very immersive. I changed the gamma setting to 4 and the overdrive setting to balanced as I heard this will help with ghosting. As it is now, I can play fps fine. This isnt the fastest panel but Im very happy.

My bad for not knowing what a VA monitor was before getting this. Ghosting is atrocious on this thing, no amount of setting customization will fix that. Ended up buying a TN for half the price and it has stayed with me since. Dont ever buy a VA if you plan to view anything with quick camera movements.

Pros: its cheap, it has good visual clarity, minimal amount of ghosting once you turn off overdrive, and just enough curve to be helpful. Cons: HDR. The HDR ready rating is laughable. The display cant put out near enough brightness to actually support hdr. However, this monitor is still worth it at this price point.

great for gaming quality great and bright

So far I’m really loving it! I haven’t gone through all of the settings, but I’m really impressed with all of the options Gigabyte has implemented. The picture is very crisp, and there is a noticeable difference even when you’re outputting 1080p to this monitor. Love the curve as well. The mechanism which allows the monitor to slide up and down is also well done, feels sturdy. Gigabyte also supplied all of the cords you could ever need, including two HDMIs. From my engineering standpoint, I give this item 9.5/10. You can tell they had an intense attention to detail and craftsmanship. Only thing I noticed that I didn’t like, was that when the screen is black, some parts of the screen are brighter than others, but it’s not noticeable in any other situation. Overall great product for the price.
