Gillette ProGlide Shield Razor Blade Refills, 8 Count, Shields against Skin Irritation

Unlike my prior order (for more Gillette razor blades at a meaningfully lower price), this time I actually received blades made by Gillette -- and delivered by Amazon. Please note that I made a significantly higher price per blade for them. Let me say, however, they stay sharp enough for me to get 6 or 7 shaves out of one cartridge. The counterfeit ones were dull from the get-go. You can tell the counterfeit ones by their being all black rather than yellow and black. My advice is always to purchase from Amazons Gillette Store.

So far, I am getting 12 pretty good shaves out of each cartridge. I typically do not shave on Saturdays. So if these are $5-6 each, then its a better value for me than DSC and Harrys. I thought my DSC blades were inconsistent in how long they lasted. I didnt feel I got as close a shave with the Harrys blades. I shave in the shower with a fog free mirror and use Kiss My Face shaving cream.

Sometimes these go on sale for like 2/3 of the price.... At that point... Its an amazing deal. The blades are nice and the gel thing around makes shaving much easier!

Very sharp and sturdy quality and I bought the set a few years ago but still some survived and still shaving as sharp as before! Get it and sharpen your life!

I just had my first shave with this new system. I shave with DE blades, Harrys and Gillette proglide. I always thought proglide was the best but they all gave me some razor burn especially when shaving against the grain. Proglide is also by far the most expensive per cartridge and DE by far the least expensive. With the pro shield at least initially there is no razor burn whatsoever after multiple passes and the shave is very close and comfortable. I only hope the blades hold up well for a good number of shaves and stay consistent making the cost palatable

I use these all the time. Haven’t found anything better yet.

It was definitely value for money. My husband is quite pleased with the results after shaving. I definitely recommend this product
