Greater than one weekA real value compared to my old Mach system. Super smooth shaves every time. I usually put a new blade on the first time I get a knick or scrape - typically around shave 5 or 6. Very good value and will order the same pack again.

> 3 dayI think they are best razors available. Yes they are more expensive than others, but buying here saves money.

> 3 dayAfter deciding to shave off my beard, I was using a Gillette Mach 3. I was pretty firm that there wouldnt be a big difference between a 3 blade and a 5 blade. Plus, the Mach 3 reviews said that they were good enough, and good enough for most people is good enough for me. Well...after about 8 months, I bought the Fusion 5 Proshield to compare. After my first shave I literally laughed out loud at how significant an improvement the Fusion PS 5 was compared to my Mach 3. The shave is closer, the shave is more gentle, and the shave is faster. Take it from me: I did the comparison and am sticking with the better blade.

> 3 dayDid not have good experience with these blades or any similar cartridges. The first shave (for the face) was alright; but the second irritated my face. I tried both Gillette and Edge shaving gels with varying temperature of water and even pre shave oil. The razor cut below the level of the skin, causing irritation and ingrown hairs/razor bumps and hurting red skin if used more than once or twice a week. Would not recommend if you shave every day, as I do, or even every other day. If you do go ahead with the razors, the flexball tech is awesome, but be sure to have a very warm, wetted face and use short, gentle strokes. Also I do not recommend shaving against the grain. Not sure how the blade works on the rest of the body, but for me your best bed is to go all out with an old-fashioned safety razor.
