I bought this one for the backlit key caps. I wished it came with copper switches instead of browns, copper switches are just so satisfying to type with, but for just 80$ keyboard not bad

Excellent keyboard for both typing and gaming. I type a lot and the keys feel juuuust right and sound not as loud as I thought they would.

The keyboard itself is great. It feels good. I love the tactile feedback and clicky sounds that arent too clicky (brown switches). I also like that there is no branding on the keyboard unless you choose to use the windows keycap with their logo. They provide another keycap with the windows logo, which I use. The software, on the other hand, is a pain. Every time I log in, I get an error that says, Reads the default keyboard layout failure, but the keyboard loads just fine. Sometimes when I change users, the keyboard doesnt register keystrokes anymore until I unplug and replug it back into the pc. When you first get a mechanical keyboard, its exciting, but you dont want to have to think about it all the time. You want it to just work. I wished I had used the money to buy a different mechanical keyboard with brown switches.

My son loved it and easyer to use

A little after 1 year of having this keyboard several of the RGB lights stopped functioning properly. The only color I can now get to correctly display on the keyboard is purple. Unfortunately, the warranty for the GMMK 1 is only a year (all other GMMK keyboards have a 2 year warranty). This, for me, has turned what was a 5-star keyboard into a 3-star.

Great product for competitive gaming, way better than the one I used was the TUF keyboard.

This keyboard is exactly what I was looking minimalist, good touch feedback, and great backlighting. Im a heavy typist, so the aluminum frame is also helpful as it makes this keyboard less likely to move on my desk!

For anyone getting into mechanical keyboards, this is a solid buy.
