> 3 dayFor the price I think the build quality and keystroke is amazing. It is a simplistic design and I am happy with it. Was recommended to it by a friend and aside from gaming I do feel that my typing has improved...weirdly. The major downside to this great keyboard is no media controls. I usually dont care for macros or a bunch of other stuff, again this is simplistic.......but damn do I miss my volume knob haha

> 3 dayI love *everything about this keyboard, with just two caveats. I wish the micro-USB was USB-C, and early on I had a problem where the RGB would just arbitrarily stop working with the only solution having to disconnect the USB and then reconnect. I needed to do that for several months after purchasing, but that has not been an issue for the past 5 or 6 months (probably due to a firmware update) It took some getting used to switching from a MacBook keyboard, but I honestly think my typing speed has increased by 20-30% since converting. I use this for both gaming and work, and while it’s not the best option for work and productivity, I’ve been able to make it work. If you’re going to be using it in a hybrid situation, I think the TKL is what I would recommend instead of the compact. Also, the Aura key caps are so much better than the standard!

Greater than one weekVery nice, clean keyboard. The one thing I didnt consider before purchasing is the open design it has creates more noise than my other keyboards, but if youre buying a mech you probably enjoy the noise.

> 3 dayI purchased this keyboard directly from GMMK. This is the most under rated product I have come across in a long time. There is not a single bad thing I can think of. Unless you are an absolute keyboard snob and willing to pay twice as much then look no further. Plenty of preprogrammed lighting effects right out of the box. Software is good enough, and if you find it to be limiting then you can use open source QMK to fill the void and program it instead. The Gateron brown switches are great. Keys make a wonderful clunk sound but are not so loud they annoy everyone around you. Dont like the keys or switches, no problem its modular, just switch them out for something else. The heavyness of the entire unit makes it feel solid. No flex at all. Its a brick and feels premium. USB C and a quality cable. Key caps are mid tier and more than good enough for the long run. This keyboard is seriously classy. Better than anything the big names have to offer by far.

> 3 dayI’m using on Mac for work and PC for gaming. The colors are awesome! Still learning the combinations but it really adds a bit of fun to the workday. The brown switches a medium loudness. Love the subtitle tactile click. Also love that I can change it all out later if I wanted. Only distraction is that some keys don’t seem to be lasered correctly. The % key top is cut off along with other keys. Still give the board a 4.99/5

> 3 dayShipped to me missing the 0 key on the numpad. I bought this on the Glorious store through Amazon. I contacted Glorious support and they refused to help me, stating that they dont carry keycaps (which is odd because they sell this keyboard WITH keycaps). They told me to contact the seller, which was them. Atrocious customer support.

> 3 dayDo not buy this keyboard. The switches are often sticky and can break coming out. The stabs are lubricated with what I can only assume is molasses. Save your money and buy the barebones instead (it just went up $10 in price on gmmk website to $70). This way you can order your own switches (more customizable), keycaps, and each switch will be labeled! Furthermore, this keyboard has a built in USB, while the barebones has fully removable (thus replaceable). As someone who bought a barebones FIRST, then bought this keyboard later, I have been very disappointed.

> 3 daySo this is very good for the money and exactly as advertised. It is definitely for someone who wants to dip their toes into keyboard customization. I replaced my switches right away and it went great. Now do mind that the first time you pull switches out it can wear out your hands a little bit. They sit in there nice and tight, which is a good thing. I will agree with the reviewer who was not the biggest fan of the accompanied key caps, but as this is advertised as modular I think there is somewhat of an assumption that you are going to be customizing.
