Hardware is good. Software is bugged and lacking. No remapping of FN keys, no fast switching of profiles, and some profiles wont work at all.

A great keyboard for starters but lacks in a few regards like there are no physical volume control knob on a 109$ board and it has 3 pins instead of 5. But the good thing is that it is hot-swappable. The keycaps that come with it are standard. They’re good but they aren’t amazing. Overall, its a solid board for someone who’s just getting into custom Keyboard. Experienced keeb’s should probably get the 5 pin GMMK Pro.

I love this keyboard., I am new to the hobby of modding a keyboard and saw that this was a decent one to start with. It comes with brown switches which are not bad, but I do not like them. It is hot swappable which is really convenient for changing your switches. just make sure that they are 3 pins. I have the base keycaps which are abs plastic, and they feel really smooth. I will eventually change them to pbt keycaps once I find a set I like. The RGB is really good. It is really nice using the app because you can change whatever you want with it. It also remembers whatever the last preset was when changing devices. Overall, I would recommend this keyboard.

The GMMK TKL is my first mechanical keyboard in years. Its my first modular keyboard ever. The base is heavy and sturdy. Its probably not something that you want to travel with but the heft is excellent. I really enjoy it. The standard Gateron Brown switches that this comes with feel fairly good to me but they can cause a bit of noise churn when I really get typing. The real winner here is the modular nature. Being able to change my switches and keycaps or add o-rings to quiet the keys down is a huge boon. This is a great intro into the expensive world of modular, mechanical keyboards and I would recommend it to anyone.

This was my first foray into a mechanical TKL keyboard after spending the last 4+ years with full-size Razer Blackwidows and was excited to try something from a smaller company with hotswappable key switches. After a few days however, I decided this wasnt for me at this time. Not that theres anything inherently with the product, it just that for me, there were too many drawbacks which Ill list below.

Just built my first PC to do some gaming on and this is the perfect keyboard. Nice price point and you can change the keys out if you ever wanted to in the future. The RGB is clean with a lot of options, and the finish is awesome. Highly recommend this keyboard and the company for your other gaming needs.

Hi have a 60% keyboard for a good few years, and always felt it was limited to my, I like to use the F key and Arrow key. So when I saw this, I instant wanted my old keyboard to break haha. I got my wish and ordered this instant. It is perfect, the right size and the perfect partner for my Glorious Model O gaming mouse!

I understand that most people, including me, get this keyboard for the hot swappable feature. That function of the keyboard works perfectly. The stock Gateron Browns feel fantastic, much more tactile and smooth than their Cherry counterparts. I swapped in some Gateron Yellows after a while and they worked perfectly. Do keep in mind however that the PCB is only compatible with 3 pin MX style switches. I personally dont use the backlight, but it is a little dimmer than other boards because of the SMD LEDs but it still looks very good if youre into that.

the caps and switches are fine, and the quality of the board is great.. very sturdy, very little flexing, its weighted having a metal top and quality plastic bottom, all around a great keyboard for the price.
