The extra length in this is perfect for extending to hard to reach areas of the house. No loss in quality vs the shorter included version that came with the camera.

Using a cable makes it record the events better and longer, the recording starts earlier.

Great for what I wanted to do. I got the 10m and it was just enough for my run. I had 2 issues though: 1. The cable gets dirty very easy, especially if you run it behind walls. 2. I dont understand why they have the cable run forward vs backwards when you plug it into the camera. It would make way more sense for the cable to run to the back and also easier for your run.

I ordered several Google nest cams (wireless) online that came without the charging cords. Was concerned that these was not work, but they work beautifully. A real cost savings for me.
